LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Income grew in Arkansas last year at a rate slower than the national average. A federal report shows personal incomes in Arkansas rose 2 point 2 percent for 2013. According to the city wire, the average across the country was more than 2 and a half percent. The state's average income is now 36-thousand dollars. That ranks Arkansas as 46th in the nation.
