Improvements to Mountain Home Bypass May 27-28

Crews will resurface 2.7 miles of the bypass. The work will extend from the Highway 5 overpass to the west intersection of Highway 412/62B.
LITTLE ROCK, AR (News release) - Improvements to Highway 62/412 (Mountain Home Bypass) will require lane closures in Mountain Home, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

Crews will resurface 2.7 miles of the bypass. The work will extend from the Highway 5 overpass to the west intersection of Highway 412/62B. The work will reduce eastbound or westbound traffic to one lane. 

The lane closures will begin Tuesday, May 27 and will continue through Friday, June 13. 

The work will only be performed Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., each day, weather permitting. 

Traffic will be controlled using barrels, cones, and warning signs.

Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
