Fried Strawberry Shortcake

4 each homemade biscuits
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 pint fresh strawberries
4 tablespoons fresh whipped topping
4 scoops vanilla ice cream
2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Take the strawberries and slice.  Add the sugar and set aside.  In a skillet place oil and heat on medium high.
Cut biscuits  in half and lightly fry on each side.  Remove and place on plate.  Top with strawberry mixture.
Next place top of biscuit on top.  Scoop ice cream on top and finish with whipped cream.  Serve right away.
