Fried Southern Style Shortcake

4 each precooked biscuits
Fry oil
2 pints fresh strawberries
� cup sugar
1 small bowl whip topping
1 pint vanilla ice cream
 
 
In a bowl cut and clean strawberries into quarters.  Add sugar and set aside for 30 minutes in refridge.  Place oil in fry pan and get hot.  Once oil is hot place biscuits in oil and fry until golden brown.  Flip and finish. Remove from grease and drain.  Place on plate and top with strawberry mixture. Top with scoop of ice cream and topping. Serve right away.
