Former Cheer Coach Pleads Guilty to Child Porn Charges

Matthew Tinkle, former owner of Tink’s Tumblers in Heber Springs, pleaded guilty to Count One of the Indictment which charged receipt of child pornography.
LITTLE ROCK, AR - A former central Arkansas cheer and gymnastics coach pleads guilty to child pornography charges.

That's according to Christopher R. Thyer, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas.

The indictment charged Matthew Tinkle, 27, former owner of Tink’s Tumblers in Heber Springs, with two counts of receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. The report states that Tinkle pleaded guilty to Count One of the Indictment, a charge of receipt of child pornography. The remaining counts were dismissed  in exchange for his plea.

In December of 2012, Heber Springs Police were called to a home to investigate a report of a 13-year-old being molested. Police investigation revealed that Tinkle had molested the teen on at least two occasions and had received nude photos of the victim.

Tinkle faces prison time and a fine. The actual sentence will be decided by the court at a later date.
