Update: Names of Murder Victim, Suspect Released by LR Police

Officers were called to the scene near 17th & Battery Wednesday night.
Update (March 13):
LITTLE ROCK, AR - Police have released the names of a homicide victim and also the suspect in a Wednesday night shooting.

It happened at 1622 S. Battery, where both men lived. Police say they were brothers.

Police say Freddie Hinton, Jr. 26, was shot multiple times in the incident and died after being taken to the hospital.

The suspect is Tristan Lewis, 21 (see attached photo). He's considered armed and dangerous.

The motive for the shooting is not yet known.

LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Police are investigating a shooting death after gunfire breaks out at 17th & Battery.

It happened around 7 p.m. Wednesday.  

Police say the victim was shot at least once and was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the hospital where he later died.  

Police have not yet released the victim's name or information about the suspect.
