Family, Friends Remember Girl Murdered 1 Year Ago

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Friends and family filled North Little Rock High's cafeteria on Thursday to remember a 17-year-old murdered one year ago.

Jasmine Young was killed in a drive-by shooting on Asher as she sat in the back of a friend's SUV while they were getting gas.

Loved ones shared stories of Jasmine's loving and caring nature and her dreams of becoming a fashion designer.

"Murder is not a game," Jasmine's mother Pam Howard said. "When you take a life you hurt a lot of people. It's hard for me and it'll be hard for the next person."

Three suspects were arrested and charged with Jasmine's murder, one only 17 years old.

All three are charged with first-degree murder.
