Crystal Music Festival Welcomes Marshall Tucker Band This Weekend

Three-day event starts Friday in Mena.

MENA, AR - The first annual Crystal Music Festival is this weekend at the Board Camp Campground and Crystal Mine.

The three-day event features some big names in musical entertainment.

The festival gates open Friday at 7:00 a.m.



On Saturday, a band that rose to fame in the 70's takes the stage in the headline act.

It's the Marshall Tucker Band with its Southern rock sounds.

Fans will remember some of their biggest hits like "Can't You See" and "Take the Highway."

Festival schedule for July 26-28:
Friday
  • Gates open 7:00 a.m.
  • Crystal digging 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Live entertainment 11:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. (Richie Owens and 6 Mile Creek- tickets $15 at the gate
Saturday
  • Gates open 7:00 a.m.
  • Crystal digging 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Live entertainment 11:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
  • Headline act: THE MARSHALL TUCKER BAND - tickets $55 at the gate
Sunday
  • Gates open 7:00 a.m.
  • Crystal digging 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Live entertainment 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Festival closes at 5:00 p.m.
There is a $10 charge for parking.
