Conway Police Need Help in Unsolved Murder Case

Conway Police are making a public call for help in finding the person who murdered a husband and father on the night of June 16.
CONWAY, AR -- Conway Police say they've hit a dead end, and they're making a public call for help in finding the person who murdered a husband and father.

Officers say they've spent the last few weeks going door-to-door in the victims neighborhood chasing down every possible lead, but have nothing to tell the family of 42-year-old Francesco Trujillo.

Conway Police say he was last seen alive hanging out on the porch with some family members at their Robins Street home.

It was late the night of June 16th when his wife checked on him early the next morning, she found him laying on the porch in a pool of his own blood. He'd been shot in the chest.

"This man had a wife and two young children who deserve to know what happened to him," said Conway Police spokeswoman LaTresha Woodruff.

The family members who were with Trujillo the night he died say he was fine when they left. Conway Police haven't been able to produce any leads over the last two days.

Anyone out there who can help is asked to call Conway Police.
