Mayors around the state are recognizing the service from thousands of volunteers.
LITTLE ROCK, AR - No city has enough money to get everything done, so mayors across the country turn to volunteers.

Here in Arkansas, mayors from around the state are recognizing service from thousands of volunteers.

More than 100 national service members were honored at the Clinton School of Public Service this afternoon.

Sherry Middleton says,"Those that give their time via volunteerism or Americorp, Seniorcorp, they feel good about what they do. It's important they know we and the mayors of their city recognize what they do just motivates them that much more to get out there and make a difference."
