Asa Hutchinson Announces July Fundraising Totals

The campaign announced that Republican nominee for governor Asa Hutchinson had raised over $275,000 in the month of July.
LITTLE ROCK, AR – The Asa for Governor campaign filed campaign contribution and expenditure disclosure forms today as required by state law. The campaign announced that Republican nominee for governor Asa Hutchinson had raised over $275,000 in the month of July, bringing the total amount raised by the campaign to $3.043 million dollars in the race for governor.

Campaign expenditures for July totaled $485,000 with a portion of these costs going toward reserving television airtime this fall. These totals leave the campaign with nearly $830,000 cash on hand.

Hutchinson campaign manager Jon Gilmore issued the following statement:

“We’re excited to be in a strong position for the final months of the campaign and I’m confident that we have the resources necessary to win. Those resources go directly to sharing Asa’s plan for Arkansas’s future, which is a plan of job creation, economic growth and new opportunities through innovation.

We are grateful to all of Asa’s supporters who have contributed and volunteered for the campaign and it is because of them that Asa is well positioned to win in November.”
