At a morning ceremony at Everett Buick GMC in Bryant, the dealership handed over the keys to a new Buick Encore.

The SUV will be raffled off by the Foodbank during its newest fundraising event "Drive Away Hunger" later this year.

The Foodbank will be selling the raffle tickets throughout the year for $100 each with all of the proceeds going toward fighting hunger in Arkansas. Ten finalists will be selected and one lucky winner will be given the key to the SUV on Sept. 13 during Drive Away Hunger, the Foodbank's

Held in the warehouse of the Foodbank, the fun-filled event offers a casual environment to dine on southern-style cuisine and libations while enjoying live entertainment.

The Arkansas Foodbank, the largest food bank in Arkansas, is a member of Feeding America and the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance. Its warehouses in Little Rock, Warren, and Caddo Valley serve approximately 300 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other agencies that provide aid directly to hungry Arkansans. Last year, the Foodbank distributed more than 20 million pounds of food to agencies that help feed the hungry.
