28 NLRSD Seniors Honored on Academic Signing Day

Each of the students has at least a 3.8 grade point average, has been selected by a prestigious college or university, and/or has received a significant scholarship.
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR (News release) - Twenty-eight students receiving scholarships totaling over $2 million were recognized this morning at the 9th Annual Academic Signing Day (ASD) at the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce offices.

Each year, the North Little Rock Public Education Foundation and the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce celebrate academic excellence among North Little Rock High School seniors by partnering to honor a select group of students.

Leaders of the business community feel it is important for local residents to know about the success stories coming out of the North Little Rock School District which educate more than 9,000 students every year.

While this is only a small group of the North Little Rock High School seniors who have accepted scholarships, Academic Signing Day is a time to recognize the best and brightest in the North Little Rock School District.

In order to be considered for recognition and participation on Academic Signing Day, a student must have at least a 3.8 grade point average, have been selected by a prestigious college or university, and/or must have received a significant scholarship.

The list of the 28 Academic Signing Day participants is attached.
