Central Arkansas Prepares For Severe Weather

Local churches are observing weather over the weekend.
LITTLE ROCK, AR-- This weekend, Arkansas roads could become a problem for drivers thanks to a winter storm.

So state leaders want people to be prepared.

Crews expect Central Arkansas roads will be impacted sometime overnight Saturday into Sunday, when a lot of people are heading out for church.

During last month's winter storm, the Church at Rock Creek cancelled on campus services, but the pastor did deliver a lesson streamed online.

Associate Pastor Michael Carson says the quick plan worked very well.

"We did have enough time to get a small crew together , which was basically myself and other tech guys and we had the senior pastor and teaching pastor come in," said Carson.

So church went on virtually.

"We thought it would be a great idea to just let everybody stay at home, stay safe and warm," said Carson.
