Central Arkansans Deal with Icy Conditions

Icy conditions made traveling dangerous for Arkansans.

LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Monday morning proved to be pretty dangerous for travelers in central Arkansas.

Icicles formed on the guard rails of overpasses across central Arkansas.

Some flights from the Bill & Hillary Clinton National Airport to Dallas ended up canceled due to ice there.

Drivers had to use some extra caution on the roads as they were slick because of the ice that formed.

"I just drive really slow and be sure to have my lights on and try to stay as far away as I can from vehicles because you never know how they're going to drive," said Kathy Parum.

Airport leaders tell us the late afternoon flights resumed as scheduled.
