Bryant Fire Leaders Push for 2 New Stations

Voters will decide on the construction of two new fire stations on November 12.
BRYANT, AR -- Bryant voters head to the polls in November to decide on the construction of two new fire stations.

This won't require a new tax.

It would give permission to use money already allocated for the fire department to build the new stations.

The stations would be built on Springhill Road and at the Bryant airport.

Fire chief J.P. Jordan said the modern stations would speed up response times and give crews more space.

"They'll be big enough to accommodate the growth of Bryant.  We can add extra personnel if we're fortunate to do so," Jordan said.

The election is set for Nov. 12.
