Brittney Johnson

Brittney Johnson anchors the weekend editions of KARK 4 News and also works as a general assignment reporter.
Brittney Johnson is an Emmy-nominated anchor/reporter with Arkansas ties and a heart for the community. She joined our news team in July 2010 from West Monroe, Louisiana. There, she worked as a reporter at KTVE/KARD, covering health, crime and corruption in the Ark-La-Miss. 

Brittney graduated summa cum laude from Howard University with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism, then followed her passion for news all the way to UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism where she earned her master's degree and worked as a special reports intern.

Brittney loves people, loves the news and is thrilled to be in Arkansas! She has family all over the state and is looking forward to reporting stories that make a difference in the lives of Arkansans.

When she's not busy digging up stories, Brittney  enjoys emceeing community events, training for her next marathon and traveling the world. She's been to countries in Africa, Asia and Europe and is always planning her next adventure!

Brittney is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., and the National Association of Black Journalists.
