Crossing the longest bridge built specifically for cyclists, runners and walkers, the event is expected to draw about 2,000 riders of all ages.

The event offers rides from 16-100 miles.

The 100 mile tour includes Little Rock, North Little Rock, Maumelle, Mayflower, Conway and Perry County, with volunteers staffing 13 aid stations.

The start line is on LaHarpe in Little Rock, at 7:30AM. The finish line is on Main Street in North Little Rock.

The "Finale Fest," which is sponsored by the Argenta Arts Council, will feature food, drink and
entertainment for all participants. The restaurants in the area are offering specials that will cater to the riders and their families.

Proceeds will benefit the Big Dam Bridge Foundation, which promotes the use, support and preservation of the Big Dam Bridge for the advancement of health, fitness, cultural and recreational activities in Central Arkansas.

"This year's Big Dam Bridge 100 will be utilizing the new Two Rivers Bridge in Pulaski County. We are pleased to be routing through Perry County for the first time and having our visitors see two of the most popular attractions in Central Arkansas.", said Fred Phillips, Operations Director.

Major sponsors of this year's event include Coulson Oil, Crackerbox, Big Red, Garver Engineering,
River City Sports Commission and the Heart of Arkansas Travel Association.

Registration is available online until 11PM on September 20. Onsite registration and packet
