AY Magazine: Best Readers Survey Contest & More!

Editor Angela Thomas hits the highlights of the Jan. 2014 issue and shares details about a contest with a $250 prize.
LITTLE ROCK, AR - The January issue of AY Magazine is now available and it's filled with all kinds of articles about everything from fashion and art to eating out and cashing in on a readers survey contest.

AY Editor Angela Thomas shares these highlights from the latest edition:

Linda Rowe Thomas, designer, creator of fashion line ROMAS, pp 20 - 23; her designs are gorgeous - she shows at NY Fashion Week - and her story is inspiring.

This month's Artscene features the exhibit "George Fisher: The Presidents," pp 24-26
Fisher was longtime political cartoonist for several Arkansas-based newspapers including PB Commercial, Arkansas Gazette and Arkansas Times. Some of his more famous illustrations include Pres. Carter as Mona Lisa and Pres. Clinton on a bicycle (as he was the youngest governor at the time of his election) and Clinton later "kicking the tires" of an oversized truck representing the White House.

Our "People" pages, on pages 27 - 29, this month feature the new executive director of Women and Children First - their Woman of the Year event will be held Jan. 18 -and Dr. Jeff Garner, known as The Smile Dr, but featured here as an art enthusiast.

If one of your NY resolutions is "to get organizer," you won't want to miss this month's All Through Your House on pages 32-33; this month we have advice from LeAnn Wolf, owner of Mind of Matter, with products from The Container Store, which is also sponsoring a giveaway.

Our cover story is the new ultra-modern Cache Restaurant, on pages 51 - 53, which officially opens today.

Be sure to enter this year's AY Best Readers Survey, details are on page 61, for a chance to win $250!
