LITTLE ROCK, AR – Ashley Ketz is returning home to Arkansas as the new evening co-anchor of KARK 4 News in Little Rock. The Batesville native will anchor the 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. broadcasts alongside Bob Clausen beginning in September. Ketz is currently an evening anchor at Nexstar Broadcasting’s KOLR-TV in Springfield, Missouri.

“We couldn’t be more excited about welcoming Ashley home to Arkansas,” said KARK News Director Austin Kellerman. “Ashley has done a standout job since joining Nexstar Broadcasting’s station in Springfield. It’s a natural transition for her to return home and help lead our team in Little Rock.”

“I am beyond thankful and excited for the opportunity to come back to the great state of Arkansas and work for the station I grew up watching,” said Ketz.

Ketz grew up in Batesville and earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She began her career at KFSM-TV in Fayetteville as a reporter in 2006 and was promoted to morning anchor before being named the evening anchor. She is married to newly-named Arkansas Today co-anchor Aaron Nolan.

“We truly enjoyed our time in Springfield, but Arkansas is home,” added Ketz. “We look forward to working with such a trusted and talented team and telling the stories that matter to Arkansans.”

In her free time, Ketz enjoys being involved in the community and serves as a volunteer for the Miss Heart of the Ozarks Scholarship Association. Ketz has a special interest in health/medical reporting and has emceed numerous events, including the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk where she received the Spirit Award.
