Arkansas Department of Health Announces Flu Clinic Locations

Get your tissues ready, the Centers for Disease Control warns this year is shaping up to be a bad one for the flu and the Arkansas Department of Health is doing it's part to keep you safe.
LITTLE ROCK, AR- The Arkansas Department of Health started the flu clinics Monday. Clinics all across the state of Arkansas that will last well into November.

Each clinic will hold a day long event and Health Department Officials hope to get to as many people as possible.

In fact many clinics will even have shot drive through said Carey Woods with ADH.

"Just simple to stick your arm out there and get your shot and just go on." Woods said. "We see so many deaths every year from flu. It's always a good idea to get your flu shot."

The Centers for Disease Controls asks everyone who is capable to please get the shot.

Especially those high at risk such as pregnant woman and the elderly.

ADH asks you bring your insurance, medicare and medicaid cards to the clinics.

If you don't have insurance it's free.
