Ark. Sees Increase in Whooping Cough Cases

By the end of 2012, there were 248 reported cases, according to DHS.
LITTLE ROCK, AR -- The number of whooping cough cases reported this year in the Natural State has already exceeded the total number reported in 2012.

According to the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH), there were 342 reported cases of pertussis as of Oct. 29, up from just 141 reported cases by the same time last year.

By the end of 2012, there were 248 reported cases, according to DHS.
