LITTLE ROCK, AR-- American Airlines Flight 1111 has landed safely after developing engine trouble.
The MD-80 made an emergency landing at the Bill and Hillary National Airport at 12:25 p.m.
The flight originated in Charlotte and was destined for Dallas.
An emergency was declared and the flight routed to Little Rock.
Airport spokesperson Shane Carter reports 136 passengers and a crew of five were on board.
All of the passengers to be booked on flights to Dallas by this evening.
