LITTLE ROCK, AR – Aaron Nolan returns to KARK-TV in Little Rock as the co-anchor of Nexstar Broadcasting’s statewide Noon newscast “Arkansas Today.” The Arkansas native will join Mallory Brooks on the anchor desk this September. Nolan currently anchors a one-hour 9 p.m. newscast at Nexstar Broadcasting’s KOLZ in Springfield, Missouri. Earlier in his career, Nolan spent four years at KARK-TV as a sports anchor and reporter for the popular “Razorback Nation” product.

“Aaron is already a known commodity across the state of Arkansas,” said KARK-TV News Director Austin Kellerman. “He’ll immediately help enhance our already-growing statewide newscast through his contacts and connections across the state.”

“This is a dream come true, not only returning to KARK, but coming home,” said Nolan. I was born and raised in Central Arkansas and it has always been a huge part of who I am.”

A native of Maumelle, Nolan graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in Telecommunications. Following his time at KARK, Nolan transferred to Nexstar Broadcasting’s KNWA-TV in Fayetteville serving as a general assignment reporter. He joined KOLR/KOZL in 2012.

In addition to anchoring duties, Nolan will report for both KARK-TV and KLRT-TV.

“I am looking forward to telling stories that impact and matter to all of us,” said Nolan. “Perhaps even more than that, I am excited to rejoin my friends and family in the Natural State.”

Nolan is married to newly-named KARK-TV weekday evening co-anchor and fellow Arkansas native Ashley Ketz.

You can welcome Aaron home to Arkansas by leaving a message on his Facebook page or sending him a congratulatory tweet!
