LITTLE ROCK, AR - A Roland woman has been ordered held on $300,000 bond for the shooting death of her husband.
Pamela Digman, 55, is charged with first degree murder in the death of Jerry Digman, 58, at their home in Roland on Sunday morning. She was arraigned this morning via video from the Pulaski County Jail.
Mr. Digman had recently been appointed the Chief Ranger for the Arkansas State Parks and Tourism Department's Law Enforcement Division and had previously worked with the Arkansas State Police for decades.
"There will be some big shoes to fill. We'll start the process, but it's just unbelievable," said Greg Butts, director of the Arkansas State Parks & Tourism.
The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office says Mrs. Digman confessed to shooting her husband multiple times following an altercation.
Mrs. Digman is scheduled to appear in court on March 3.
