3 Arrested after 6-Month Undercover Drug Investigation

PERRY COUNTY, AR -- Law enforcement officials have arrested three people after a 6-month-long undercover drug investigation.

According to the Perry County Sheriff's Office (PCSO), a criminal investigator and a special agent with the Arkansas State Police spent the past 6 months conducting an undercover buy program.

PCSO says 75-year-old Daniel Hammett of Pleasant Valley has been charged with maintaining a drug premise and delivery of methamphetamine, Hydrocodone and Xanax.

Officers also charged 36-year-old Olivia McKinney, of Bigelow, with delivery of methamphetamine, and Teresa Harrison, of Casa, with delivery of Hydrocodone.

Hammett, McKinney and Harrison are currently out on bond and are awaiting trial.

PCSO says officers are still actively working on program and expect further arrests.
