2 Jailed after Undercover Drug Investigation

LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR -- An undercover investigation involving three law enforcement agencies has landed two people in jail on multiple drug charges.

The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) says they were assisted by the Hoxie and Black Rock Police Departments in an undercover drug investigation leading to the arrests of 54-year-old David Madden, of Hoxie, and 46-year-old Angela Ludwig, of Tuckerman.

The agencies executed a search warrant at a residence in Hoxie on Thursday, where they found meth, drug paraphernalia and firearms, according to LCSO.

Madden was charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance (meth), possession of a controlled substance, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, unlawful use of a communication device and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ludwig faces charges of possession of a controlled substance (meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
