LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Balloons flew and chants echoed across the Little Rock Job Corps campus on Thursday afternoon.
Students led a peace rally to promote anti-violence since today marked the International Day of Peace.
The group also gathered for an aerial formation of Y-to-Y, which stands for Youth to Youth.
They also chanted "no more bullying" and "no more hate."
We spoke with one of the organizers about why it's important.
"We just wanted to come out in solidarity and show that, no more bullying, no more hate, we are a peaceful place. This is what we want for ourselves and for the world," says Rory Hill/Business Community Liasion, LR Job Corps.
Y-to-Y is a student-led initiative within Job Corps centers nationside. It all started back in 2015.
