Update: Suspect in Aug. 7 Russellville Shooting Arrested

Update (Aug. 9):
RUSSELLVILLE, AR - A shooting suspect police had been looking for since Thursday morning is now behind bars.

Officers arrested Quwillen Porter, 19, on Saturday.

He faces charges of battery and aggravated burglary.

Detectives say he's the primary suspect in a shooting on Cleveland Avenue.

The victim is expected to recover.

Porter will be in court Monday morning.

RUSSELLVILLE, AR - Police are looking for a named suspect in a Thursday morning shooting.

It happened in the 1200 block of North Cleveland Ave. around 3:30.

Police say the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.

He was treated at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center.  

Police have named Quwillen Porter, 19, as the suspect in the case. They say he is considered armed and dangerous. The Russellville Police Department is offering a $250 reward for information leading to Porter's capture.
