Sherwood Cheer Mom Released From Prison

She was given a 10-Year Sentence in 2014.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - A Sherwood cheer mom was released from prison Tuesday, August 22, 2017, after serving part of her 10-year prison sentence that was handed down in August 2014.
 
Andrea Clevenger, 34, was released on parole and will serve out the rest of her sentence in that way.
 
Clavenger pleaded guilty to sexual assault and engaging a child in sexually explicit conduct in a case police say involved a 13-year-old boy.
 
Clevenger had been featured on the national cheerleading reality show "Cheer Perfection" in recent years.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - A Sherwood cheer mom has been sentenced to a 10-year prison term after entering a guilty plea in a case in which she was accused of having sex with an underage boy.
 
In Pulaski County Circuit Court this morning, Andrea Clevenger, 34, pleaded guilty to sexual assault and engaging a child in sexually explicit conduct. Judge Barry Sims imposed the sentence.  
 
The case had been scheduled to go to trial next month.
 
Clevenger had been featured on the national cheerleading reality show "Cheer Perfection" in recent years.
 
She was arrested back in January in a case that police said involved a 13-year-old boy.
 
Clevenger had originally also faced a felony charge of rape.
