(CNBC) – Put your phones down and pick up your eating utensils. A national restaurant chain wants to set aside a day for technology-free eating.
Applebee’s has submitted a trademark application for “No tech Tuesday.” According to the article by CNBC, restaurants often file these applications before announcing a new program or item.
The restaurant would not comment the no-tech filing or how it goes with its plan to add 100,000 tablets to on every table at more than 1800 of its U.S. locations.
