LITTLE ROCK, AR - Two years ago, Michelle Hastings started a new clothing brand.
Wear Luck was born out of Trivia Marketing, a company that markets for other companies by designing and making t-shirts.
"Wear Luck is us starting from scratch, starting with a garment, starting with an idea, starting with a design, and us seeing if we can market it across the country," Hastings explains. "If we've never marketed a product, maybe we should put ourselves in their shoes."
This business quickly decided to turn Wear Luck into somewhat of a social experiment of positive thinking.
"So we wanted to do something with a meaning, something that was different than anything out there, so that's where we came up with motivational messages," Hastings adds.
Each item has an uplifting message on it.
"It's different than just getting a plain old shirt, a Hanes t-shirt off the rack, or off a shelf. It has some sort of a meaning that touches that person," Hastings says. "It doesn't come with a magic wand inside the box, but there is something magical about it for people when they receive."
Wear Luck also has separate lines that motivators from around the country design. The trainers for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders have their own Wear Luck line.
