MAYFLOWER, AR- Rain in Mayflower has tornado victims doing all they can to save what's left of their homes.

With inches of rain expected to hit the disaster zone, many are rushing to save some of their precious items.

If the victims have no safe place for the items, they are covering them in blue tarps or putting them in boxes.

Those hit say it has been a team effort as they attempt to save whats left.

"See what the Samaritans did when they came over and while I was trying to save stuff, they put some tarps on the roof. Which is going to be torn down but they went up on the roof and helped me secure that place and make the place try until I moved everything out," says tornado victim Monn Guettea.

More rain is expected Tuesday for Mayflower.
