MAYFLOWER, AR - Faulkner County is gearing up to go back to school and donations have been coming in as a way to

help those families dealing with the rebuilding process

The Mayflower School District has been receiving a number of clothes and school supply donations.

School officials say donations have doubled since school year.

Superintendent John Gray says they are trying to make things as normal as possible for their students following the

April tragedy.

"We are being very sensitive to the needs of the kids who were directly effected by the disaster. We are taking

them on an individual basis. Providing them the help that we can," says John Gray.

Some of that help includes special transportation for those effected who need it.
