The exhibit was not an easy make. The curators traveled across the country, logging more than 100,000 miles. Their work resulted in 102 artists displaying their art in Northwest Arkansas.
A lot of work went into bringing this exhibit to life, culminating in the largest exhibit the museum has shown in its history.
"We visited 1,000 artists in their studios all across the country and chose over a hundred to feature at the museum," said Chad Alligood, project co-curator. "We'll have 227 artworks, from paintings to sculpture, installations and beyond."
You'll find other pieces of the exhibit on site at the museum in Bentonville and a couple of the pieces just off main street in the square.
The museum exhibit will be unveiled in its entirety September 13 on the grounds of Crystal Bridges.
