LITTLE ROCK, AR - A man and woman who tried to rob a local fast food restaurant left empty-handed in an early morning robbery attempt.

Police were called to the Rally's on 12th St. around 12:45.

That's where an employee told officers the suspects had approached him outside and demanded that he open the restaurant door.

He told police the man was armed with a handgun.

After the worker told the pair he did not have a key, the man reportedly then tried to open one of the windows, but he was unsuccessful and both suspects left the scene.
