Man Breaks Into Church, Writes Apology Letter

WASHINGTON COUNTY, AR (KNWA) - A man is now behind bars after police say he broke into a church, stole music equipment, and then wrote an apology letter to the church and police.

According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, Jose Manuel McGuire broke into Living Hope Assembly Church and took guitars and an amp.

The report states McGuire wrote the church an apology letter and told police where they could find the stolen property.

McGuire was booked into the Washington County jail on charges of commercial burglary and theft of property.

He awaits a court hearing set for Friday, August 1st.
