Little Rock, Arkansas -
LITTLE ROCK, AR (News release) - Improvements to Highway 89 will require lane closures in Pulaski County, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
Crews will resurface Highway 89 between Highway 107 and Highway 5 in northern Pulaski County. The work will reduce traffic on Highway 89 to one lane. Drivers are encouraged to reduce speed due to loose material on the roadway during the resurfacing process.
The lane closures will be Monday, May 5 through Thursday, May 8, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled using flaggers, cones, and warning signs.
Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
