LITTLE ROCK, AR (News release) - Research work will require lane closures on Interstate 430 in Little Rock, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
Crews will be testing the friction of the driving surface. The work will affect the northbound and southbound outside lanes of Interstate 430 between Highway 10 (Cantrell Road) and the Arkansas River.
The lane closures will be Thursday, April 10, weather permitting. The northbound outside lane closure will be between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. The southbound outside lane closure will be between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Traffic will be controlled using barrels and warning signs.
Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
