LITTLE ROCK, AR - Preparations are under way for the 2nd annual Build Communities Not Bullies event coming up on Oct. 25.

It's an event held for the first time last year that brought out hundreds of students, parents, counselors, law enforcement and educators to the the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock.

Steven Juain Young, chair of the event and works at Booker Arts Magnet Elementary says since that time he's seen a tremendous change in the atmosphere at his school and others.

"The school climate all over the district has just changed and is working even harder to bring awareness to find out what bullying is and what it isn't and be able to help those who are the bullies as well as those who find themselves being the target of bullying," says Young.

The event is free and very family friendly with fun like face painting.

Now organizers say they are looking for sponsors and vendors to help make this event bigger and better.
