The crook stole more than $400.
The kids have been putting change in a five gallon jug for a year and a half now and the money was supposed to go towards a special summer trip.
The thief smashed open the front door window at the organization City of Hope Outreach in Conway.
It happened either late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.
City of Hope is a non-profit ministry which serves the needy.
Children also come to the organization for a summer camp.
For months, kids have been putting coins in a jug to raise $1000 for a field trip.
They made it half way to the goal, before someone broke in and stole all the money.
Phil Fletcher, with City of Hope Outreach, said, "If the person is watching this right now you can bring whatever is left and we can work out all the other stuff. We're a forgiving organization because of God's grace and the gospel and we can move past that."
Employees say there were computers and bikes sitting around the building that could've also been stolen, but the thief only took the coin jar
Conway police are investigating this crime, but so far, no arrests have been made.
