Mountain Home, AR - One woman in Arkansas will be cheering loudly for downhill skier Jackie Wiles.

Jennifer James lives in Mountain Home but her daughter, Jackie, is currently competing for an Olympic medal.  Every day Jackie, 21, calls her mother in Arkansas and fills her in on the day's activities.

Jennifer said Jackie is soaking up all the memories, "She sends me a message with a picture of her walking in the opening ceremonies and says 'this is the epitome of my life so far'.  She's thrilled to be there, and it's life changing, she says 'this has changed my life.' "

Jackie's first medal contention is Wednesday in the Women's Downhill event.  She is one of just four American women to compete for the gold in this event.  Jackie also plans to race in the Women's Super G on Sunday.
