Monday Morning Crash Leaves 1 Dead, 2 Injured in Pine Bluff

PINE BLUFF, AR - A Pine Bluff woman is dead and two other people injured after a crash at a Pine Bluff intersection.

On August 25, at 11:16 a.m., officers of the Pine Bluff Police Department responded to an accident at the intersection of U.S.79B/Blake Street and 13th Avenue.

According to police a white Toyota Camry, driven by Anetra E. Wyatt, 32, of Pine Bluff, was going south on Blake Street and a white Nissan Quest, driven by Floyd Wooley, 73, was going north on Blake Street.

Police say that when both vehicles entered the intersection, they collided.

It is undetermined which vehicle had a green light or red light.

According to police Wooley's wife Alice Wooley, 73, was in the passenger seat of the Nissan Quest and was taken to Jefferson Regional Medical Center (JRMC) for injuries and was pronounced dead at 12:05 p.m.

Both Floyd Wooley and Anetra Wyatt were also taken to JRMC for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

The collision is still under investigation.
