LITTLE ROCK, AR — A Lonoke man has been sentenced to 45 years in state prison for the death of his girlfriend.
According to the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office, Dennis Richard Harrington, 42, pleaded guilty to 1st degree murder in the death of Rebecca Lauer, 35.
Lauer was reported missing by her family in July 2013 and an investigation led to Harrington's arrest that September.
Harrington was first charged with kidnapping and domestic battery. In January, the charges of capital murder and abuse of a corpse were added against him.
