LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Five people are recovering after being injured in separate weekend shooting incidents in the Capital City.
Little Rock Police Department (LRPD) reports released on Monday list four locations where there was gunfire.
The first shooting was reported around 8:45 p.m. Friday after the victim drove himself to UAMS. The 24-year-old man told police he had been shot in the leg near 12th & Jefferson streets during a struggle with another man who had pulled the gun on him.
A few hours later, around 12:15 a.m. Saturday, a shooting victim drove up to officers in the 5900 block of Baseline Road and reported having been shot on Auxor Road. Police say the 30-year-old man had been wounded in the arm.
On Saturday night there were two more shootings. Officers were called to an address on Arapaho Trail just before 7:30 p.m. where a 20-year-old man was grazed twice on one leg after another man fired shots at him.
Just minutes later, around 7:40 p.m., more gunfire was reported in the area of 65th St. & Lancaster Road. One person suffered a gunshot wound to the hand and a second person with him was injured when he ran from the gunfire and fell.
Police say 12 people, including four children aged nine and under, were inside a home when that shooting happened outside. A bullet struck the home's exterior. No one inside the house was hit or injured.
According to LRPD reports, no arrests have been made in any of the shooting incidents.
The body was found after a boating accident Friday night.
