CONWAY, Ark. - After Daniel Horton, 28, struggled with addiction, went missing and was found killed weeks later, his mother, Michelle Collins, has made it her mission to help parents of children who struggle with addiction.
Collins enrolled in the Addiction Studies Program at the University of Central Arkansas and plans to become an addiction counselor.
Lisa Ray, UCA Program Director of Bachelor of Sciences Addiction Studies Degree Program, explains the resources available to parents to get help for their child struggling with addiction, whether they're under 18 or an adult.
