Web Extra: Gov. Asa Hutchinson on Capitol View

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- On Sunday's episode of "Capitol View", Governor Asa Hutchinson discussed a wide variety of topics with host Jessi Turnure.

The governor addressed President Donald Trump's decision to fire FBI Director James Comey earlier in the week. Governor Hutchinson worked with Comey at the Department of Justice during his time working in the federal government during the George W. Bush. He said Comey has a "distinguished record of service," but pointed to missteps made in the past year.

The governor also addressed the health care debate, flooding recovery efforts in Arkansas, recent death row executions, and the LRSD millage extension vote that failed earlier in the week.

Capitol View airs Sunday mornings at 8:30 on KARK.
