PINE BLUFF, Ark. - Voters in Pine Bluff headed to the polls Tuesday to decide whether to add a five-eighths cent sales tax to revitalize the city -- including the downtown area.
It's part of the "Go Forward Pine Bluff" initiative that aims to address problems that have plagued the city for years.
The "yes" votes -- those in favor of the sales tax increase -- dominated the "no" votes by more than 2,000.
