Victory Over Violence Encourages Record Turnout for National Night Out

Annual event set for tonight!

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The Victory Over Violence campaign is hoping for record turnout during this year's National Night Out this evening in Little Rock. There are more than 20 events (posted below) to choose from across the city.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. NNO is designed to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.

Victory Over Violence will be hosting a poster contest this year.  The best anti-violence sign posted to Instagram using the hashtag #ARDeclareVictory will win $100!  The contest ends at 9 p.m. on Tuesday evening.
