LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Arkansas Heart Hospital offered patients Valentine's dance classes on Wednesday.
They started at 7 a.m. and held seven classes for people whose hearts are starting to give out on them.
Organizers designed it as a fun way to do cardiac rehab -- repairing your heart and increasing strength so you can get back to normal function and doing what you love.
"Nobody wants to walk on the treadmill everyday for exercise, so we said 'let's have a dance. let's do something fun," says Christine Alongi.
Arkansas Heart Hospital expected about 100 patients to attend the classes. Any patient is also allowed a guest caretaker to participate with them, so many husbands and wives got to share the dance class with their Valentine.
